Come celebrate with the Community Music Center of Houston (CMCH) during our 40th anniversary Ruby Jubilee as we present the Family Funk Festival – a celebration of the greatest hits of the “Funk” era. The concert begins with Houston’s great musicians performing hits from Parliament, Funkadelic, George Clinton, The Gap Band, and more!

The festival will be headlined by the legendary Howard Scott who scored many hits in the ‘60s and ‘70s including “Spill the Wine”, “All Day Music”,“Why Can’t We Be Friends?”, “Galaxy”, and The World is a Ghetto”,  and also co-wrote  “The Cisco Kid” and “Slippin’ Into Darkness”.
