From 1990-2005, Global Village were mainstays in Texas and Louisiana. Filling up clubs and opening for national acts coming through town, GV ruled the local  Houston music scene.

After an amazing reunion show in 2017, GV continues to reunite once or twice a year to remind everyone that they still have it, that the funk will not go quietly.
