Golden Dawn Arkestra is an Austin psychedelic afrobeat collective. Being heavily influenced by Sun Ra, the band is in the same vein, stylistically, frequently introducing costumes and an aesthetic in their performance. The group uses instrumentation that includes horns, percussion, synthesizers, vibraphone, and bass clarinet.
