On Thanksgiving Day 1976, the Band played a final concert in its original lineup with era-defining cameos (Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, the Staple Singers, etc.).

Over four decades later, The Last Waltz still stands as a musical monument, and the annual local celebration re-creates the performance with Austin’s own all-star roll call of artists each taking on a specific role in the concert.
