Austin’s Honey Made bring back memories of legends like James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone, and Earth Wind and Fire with their modern take on slamming primal soul and focus on their R&B roots. In 2020 the band released its 5 track EP titled “Couple Few” and its full-length album titled “Brand New” produced by Grammy Award winner Steve Berlin of Los Lobos. In 2022 the band released the single “Upstairs” which received play on over 25 AAA Radio outlets across the US with the help of legendary executive producer John Ryan. In 2022 the band was also awarded several accolades including being an official SXSW Showcasing Artist, selected as the headliner for the YouTube Presents: DIY Musician Showcase (as part of the CD baby DIY Musicians Conference held in Austin Texas) and being named the “Best Live Band” in Austin Fit Magazine’s “Best of Austin List.” Having shared the stage with George Clinton & the Parliament Funkadelic, The Motet, Lee Fields, Flow Tribe, Tomar & The FCs and The Soul Rebels the band has already made quite a name for themselves locally, and are currently planning on rapidly expanding their audience beyond the Austin scene.
