Austin’s ‘Grady Ray Band’ (w/ members of Panic Stricken)
Grady Ray has been writing songs for 15 years with multiple different bands across the US, telling stories of love, loss, triumph, and defeat. Primarily a bass player, the self-proclaimed “Greasiest Gator in Texas” has played in a number of groups based in Austin, touring with tribute acts like Panic Stricken (Widespread Panic) and A Live One (Phish). He also currently plays in the Outlaws of Funk and the Eddie Robbins Band, both based out of Austin, and was a founding member of Austin jamband Koodookoo. Grady Ray Band consists of Charlie Aboussie (guitar), Cam Cummings (guitar), Connor Marshall (drums), and Grady Ray (bass/lead vox). The band blends multiple genres together to create a unique sound with elements of rock, country, funk, blues, and jamband influence complimented with soulful vocals and captivating lyrics.
