Trombone Shorty is New Orleans’ most popular music extraordinaire. A trombone and trumpet player from New Orleans, he is well-known for his jazz, funk and rap music hits. Adding his melodic tunes to every performance, he has played with some of the music industry’s most popular artists like Daryl Hall & John Oates, Dierks Bentley, Mark Ronson, Zac Brown and Red Hot Chili Peppers, to name a few. His appearance credits are also just as long (an impressive). Trombone Shorty has appeared in Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways documentary series, backed Macklemore and Madonna at the Grammys and voiced the iconic sound of the adult characters in The Peanuts Movie. Not to mention, he has played at the White House a record number of five times. The jazz maestro began playing trombone at age six, and after 2009, toured with his band, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. They light up every stage with amazing sounds and stage performances.
