In Houston, a group of young, musically seasoned ultra-fans feel that the Grateful Dead still has a tremendous message to offer today’s society, sonically as well as philosophically. A new project – Up On A Quasar – brings the groove of two drummers to an ensemble of harmonically inclined multi-instrumentalists, recreating an authentic Dead experience that channels the poignancy of modern times and the experience of professional musical talents.

In other words: we’ve got some things to talk about, as we keep the Dead Truckin’ on down the road.
